Except that apparently, I have ginormous heels and struggle to pull the skinny leg opening over my heels. But that's my problem. These fit great. No gaping at the waist. Snug through hips and thighs. I'm 5'6" 32-24-34 and usually wear a 24/25 and the 24 was a perfect fit.

If I hadn't been able to try these jeans on in a store before ordering them online, I think I would have been afraid to try them. When you're buying "skinny skinny" jeans in the largest size they carry, you can't help wondering if they'll really look good on your non-model legs. I'm very happy to report, however, that these are true to size and very flattering. I love the dark wash and will get good use out of them all winter. I was also pleased that Madewell has such an easy return process for jeans--even though I kept them, it gave me some peace of mind knowing it would be fairly effortless to send them back if I needed to.

These jeans are the perfect pairing to boots or sandals. I am in love with the cut and look of them. They sit perfectly on the waist (not too low) and are the perfect length for me. I'm 5'8" / 135 and have a hard time finding jeans that are long enough (I got the 32" inseam size 4) and they fit perfect!! I'm definitely ordering another pair :) Highly recommend them!

I love these jeans. I bought them in the madewell wash, which is perfect for daily wear or a night out. They are really comfortable but look polished. I wish this wash came in the ankle version (at least it didn't in the store) because my only complaint is the length. I'm average height - 5'4" - and these aren't just a little long, they're a LOT long. I like that Madewell offers complimentary hemming, but it's just kind of a pain to have to bring them home, wash them, wear them a bit to make sure the fit is going to be accurate once they get hemmed (and not too short all of a sudden) and then bring them back to be hemmed (along with the wait-time of a week or so).

These jeans are fantastic. They fit great and are lightweight and comfortable. They feel and look like an amazing pair of jeans you've had forever. Highly recommended.

Being truly happy with a couple of other pairs of madewell jeans I decided to give these a go. they are fantastic; holding their shape, and color after washing. they fit well and are comfortable. the dark wash goes well with everything.

I really adore Madewell jeans. They fit me in the waist and the hips with none of that awful gapping that usually occurs. These are great - a nice, dark, even wash with lots of stretch but not too much. The rise is slightly above low-rise - just enough to hold in any pooch. My only complaint is the length. I'm 5'4" and will have to get them hemmed or just turn up the cuffs. If you are looking for basic flattering dark skinny jeans - these are them!

These look fantastic and feel really comfortable, but beware that they do stretch out very quickly so you'll want to order a size down. On the sizing chart, I fit the 26 perfectly, but after a week of wearing these jeans and feeling them stretch out, I wished I'd ordered the 25's. Also: petite girls, beware! The shortest inseam is a 32" which is still super long. I'm 5'2, and I have to wear these jeans heavily cuffed until I get them hemmed, because they're so long. It'd be fantastic if Madewell offered a 30" inseam!
