In my opinion this sweater runs a bit on the small side compared to most Madewell items. (My other items from Madewell are all currently XS) I sized up to a size S because the fit looked better overall. So, if you prefer to have your sweaters look looser, I'd suggest sizing up as well. Other than that this sweater is great and made well! I wish it had come in more colors!

It's rare to find a sweater that is as chic as it is comfortable and easy to care for, but this fits the bill! It's soft but still thick and best of all, doesn't need to be dry cleaned, like nearly all of my other fall/winter-wear. Takes the hot colorblock trend and makes it feel effortlessly cool. Love the bright blue with the soft gray, and the beige bands make for a realy nice contrast without being too jarring. It got a ton of compliments from my friends and co-workers. So glad I made the purchase!

I was very happy when I bought the heather rock color that I ordered the other colorway (transatlantic blue) soon after it came out two weeks ago. I love the 100% cotton fabric (no synthetic blend) that comes in an interesting waffle texture that seems sturdy and will hold up well. I have avoided the colorblocking trend until now. This one works for me. I sized down to an XS because of my petite frame. I hope Madewell continues to offer great basics that are free from synthetic blends.

I just got this sweater in the mail and LOVE that it is natural fibers, well made, great color combo and a true classic piece I can wear all fall. I would say the material is light in sense that you may need a tank, button down when it gets colder outside. I also like slouchy so i bought XL since it was only size left (I'm 5'1, 135 lbs,) and glad I did (I could shrink it a bit) and since it does run short from shoulder to waist...this XL gives me the slouchy room for something underneath and be able to keep it casual...

I can be a medium or large, went with large and fits great. Not super long, think if I went with Med then it would have been too short.

Love the texture of this sweater, it's very interesting but also smooth and even with a nice drape and hand feel. Fits TTS, I am between and XS and and S (5'9, 125 lbs) and ordered this in a Small for more room - I think an XS would have been fine but a bit short.
