I bought this on a whim with the idea of wearing it to Mother's Day brunch. I was pleasantly surprised by how figure-flattering the gentle A-line cut of the skirt is. The sleeves are also cut well -- flowy but not billowing. Overall the dress fit well and appears to me made well (pun intended). I received tons of compliments and I'm really pleased with the purchase.

This is a lace dress done right. The sleeves are long and roomy and the lace is clearly high quality. I'm 5'1" and it hits an inch or so above the knees. I'm a true size 2 (26" waist), and it fit perfectly around the waistline, maybe a little too loose. Highly recommended.

I've got this dress in dark blue. I would buy all colors if my size wouldn't be sold out. The dress is classy, timeless and flattering. It hits above my knees (I am 163 cm tall) which is perfect. The upper part is quite large but I like it this way. I would say the dress is TTS. Perfect for dancing since it lets you move freely.

I am 5'11" so it can be difficult for me to find a dress that is long enough, but this dress was the perfect length, hitting me mid- to low-thigh. Other reviewers have mentioned this runs large or small, but I typically wear a 4 in Madewell dresses and the 4 in this dress fit me perfectly -- true to size. Overall, great dress!

This dress runs small. I am consistently a 4 or S in Madewell tops and dresses and had to go up to a 6 in this one. Even the 6 fits tighter than most of my size 4 dresses but the 8 was too large. I think the reviewers claiming this runs big may be reviewing the shift dress- I agree that one runs big. I am a 2 in that style. The sleeves are really pretty and the fit is flattering. I'm 5'7" and the dress falls shorter for me than on the model but most Madewell dresses do. It is a mid thigh dress for me. I think both colors look great, I own both!

I purchased both colors in this dress and have already worn them several times. The lace is very pretty and the dress can be dressed up or down easily depending on shoes, tights and jackets. It also packs well and didn't suffer from being folded up in my small carry on bag. I don't agree that the dress runs large at all. I usually wear a 4 or 6 in Madewell at 5'5" and 125, but I actually went up to an 8. The eight is a little loose across my chest, but the smaller sizes seemed too short for my torso and a bit tight in the waist. I like the elbow length sleeve. and think the dress is nicely made.

Everything about this dress was great. Wished the store would have had the dark cabernet in my size as this color was my first choice, but the night vision color was just as beautiful. I did not think it ran too large as size 10 is my usual size. I purchased it on sale so the value was excellent!

I searched everywhere for a lace dress that would flatter my petite frame and it was a long search. So glad I found this dress. The navy color is a nice change from black and the sleeves are lovely. It is well made and fits beautifully.

I bought this dress before Thanksgiving in crimson and absolutely loved it, so I bought the navy color as well. It fits true to size and is very flattering. I've received so many positive compliments when I've worn both colors. I wish it came in a third color as I'd buy that too! This dress is definitely worth the price and is perfect for the holidays and work!

I tried on all the sale dresses in the store, and everyone concluded that this one was the best, although it wasn't on sale at the store. I went with a different one because the sales ladies said that it wouldn't go on sale for a while. To my surprise, it is discounted online. The color is beautiful for someone with dark hair. As others have said, it is generously cut, though not too generous in the context of vanity sizing everywhere. I am 5'4, 114lb with a pear shape and I fit a 0.
