I had a lot of trouble getting this in the right size, since I ordered when these started to go on sale and get low in stock. The sizing is really big - I'm usually a size small/2/4, but in this I ended up being a size 0. The straps and circumference of the item were what ran large so I was initially tempted to get the size 4, which was available then, and alter it so the straps were shorter/ move the zipper. Luckily I was able to order a size 0 as an experiment, and that size worked.

I had been looking for the perfect top to pair with a couple of silk skirts that would make them look more casual. The top is extremely well made, and surprisingly easy to zip myself into. The zipper is really good quality, which helps a lot.

I originally ordered this in a size 12 (my usual size) and was extremely deflated to find that it would not zip up. I ended up rebuying it in a size 14 two months later, and I love how it looks on my body. It fits great now, and I highly recommend it for others with larger busts. It just cinches my upper body perfectly, and the denim is sturdy enough to hold that shape.

Quite probably one of my favorite things I've bought from Madewell - and I buy a LOT from Madewell. A compliment machine. Just so so sexy and fun. And insanely flattering for larger chests. I was worried it'd be too small, but it fits like it was tailor made in my usual Madewell size. I adore it with the ripped Dad jeans for an early 00's Britney Spears denim on denim vibe. Also just perfect with breezy shorts. Brunch, bars, dates with bae - she goes everywhere. I cannot gush about this top more. I'll be wearing this into the ground.

I tried this on in store when it first came out, and I remember it running big. I grabbed it a couple months later while on sale online (final sale) in a size 6. It fits well in the bust (32DDD0, but the straps are a bit too long and the bottom could be a little tighter. A 4 would fit my body much better, but unfortunately I can't exchange. :( I just have no idea how to style it!

I’m obsessed with this top but very disappointed in the sizing and sad that they are sold out of all the smaller sizes. I have a decently large chest (34DD) and nearly always do a size 6 in Madewell. That’s what I ordered in this, hoping it would be a tighter corset style fit. It is not. I could have gone down probably 2 sizes. It’s still cute, but I’m determining if it’s comfy enough to wear braless or not with the fit being so loose. If you have big boobs, this is the top for you! If you have average boobs, maybe size down 2 sizes. If you have small boobs probably avoid altogether. The straps are also a bit too long but I’m pretty used to that from Madewell, so that in itself is not a deal breaker.
