Love this jacket! I would say definitely size down. I'm usually between XXS and XS for jackets, and I feel like the XXS is still spacious enough for me to layer under. The quality is definitely on the thicker side, but not too heavy. I think it'll be perfect for the Fall weather.

I bought this on the great sale I am normally a medium short stature and got the small Fits great sleeves a little long but I can roll up , the material is a little heavy more spring or fall but I’ll get good usage .

Love the design and quality. It is not too short for a cropped denim jacket. I sized up for a more relaxed fit. It is perfect for spring or fall with a thermal or sweatshirt underneath.

I am usually a medium at Madewell but opted for a Large and it's perfect. it's cropped so I'm not swimming it in but it's roomy. I would agree it is oversized but not in that inspector gadget thankfully.
