These are super fun to wear to work meetings. Love the green stripes and quality of the fabric. They are a little thicker but alleviates concern of being see-through white pants.

i like the fit and color. the threads are well sewn. after a few wash still hold up. the walk all day and i don’t feel fatigue while wearing. the pants matches many of my shoes. it matches well with my shirt. it goes well with my panties. i like that the pants are made of organic material. i get compliments from strangers all the time, almost frightening how often it happens.

Stripes are a hard one, these ones are somehow just right. Uber stylish, could dress them up or down. Mostly I will be wearing with Birks and white tees or tanks this Summer. I usually am a 27 in Madewell however, sometimes I size down with jeans that stretch. These however, were very snug without an extra inch to spare. Will be washing on cold/air drying until or if they loosen up.

Such a fun color combo (mint/ ivory) for the warmer days ahead- Wish these were a linen blend though, as another reviewer already commented they a bit heavy for Summer. Fit perfect (26 for my 26). Perfect for this desert nomad's days in Arizona.

I knocked one star off for sizing, but otherwise I LOVE these pants. I wear a 26 in the solid colors, but found that the striped version fit differently, maybe because of the material? the solids feel more stretchy and the stripes feel like they have less stretch. I went up to a 27, which is totally fine, but the 26 was SO tight I could barely get them on, and the 27 is loose on me. I can still wear them but was a little bummed. the color is pretty though and the stripes are a classic, so I do still recommend the pants and love them! I will buy more & hope the sizing is more consistent next time

These pants are adorable! I love the stripes and color. The stripes line up on the pockets, which is a nice design touch. However, I could not make these work. As other reviewers have said, these are thicker and less stretchy than the other Emmett 2.0 pants that MW came out with this season. Those fit like a glove and are so comfy.. But with these, I was between sizes. My normal 27 was a bit too tight in the waist, but the 28s were simply too loose in the waist. I'll sadly be returning but would recommend trying them out bc I think they're adorable!

These pants run about a size smaller than other Madewell pants I have. Wish they fit because they are great quality and such a cute style. Color just as pictured. Fabric is a bit heavy for spring/summer though.

I l o v e d these pants and wanted them to work so badly - unfortunately, as is common with trouser-type bottoms - the waistband is not consistent with the rest of the pant. While the whole pant is comfortable and stretchy, the waistband is tight and has no give--so while the 29s were a technical fit (sizing up from my normal 27/28), the rigidity of the waistband in contrast to the softness of the pants made the whole look odd. I'm gonna return these, which breaks my heart, because I'm living for the vertical stripes.
