I've purchased 2 of these jackets, the pink (not crazy about the color), and the brown. And actually have 3 of the brown in my closet, 2 found on ebay because the price was great and Madewell isn't making them anymore. Wish I'd bought the lemongrass one. These are great little jackets for over a tank or a tee and am always on the lookout for another!

I missed buying this jacket in Dark Tobacco, XXL. I regret it. The cut and shape are great and the recent Military Jacket of the same warm brown color emphasizes the waist area/adds too much visual bulk. I've been trying to find this jacket on secondhand sites to no avail. Would appreciate this exact jacket being brought back for fall. Thanks Madewell!

I love this coat. The pink color is perfect for spring, summer or fall. I like that its a rich pink and not pastel, making it a more tomboy coat than girly. Have gotten many compliments on this piece! Can make a casual outfit seem more polished. The material is lightweight, but also thick enough for a sunny warm fall day.

I bought it in XXS, I am 5”1, 90lbs and the fit was perfect. The color is a beautiful dusky rose pink. I have gotten compliments whenever I wear it.

This chore coat is a nice weight and fit for early fall. I am pleased with the heavy soft canvas fabric. The brown color matches pretty much everything. 5’6” 120 lbs, 34B XS fit well.

I love the pink color - it's lovely. I wanted that lose, swingy vibe shown in the picture. My original size (XS) was too tight in the shoulders, so I had to go up one size to get the right feel. Now the sleeves are a bit longer than in the photo, but I still like it a lot. It looks pretty over jeans and dresses. Oh, and it is lightweight, which is nice. I hate jackets that weigh heavy on me.

I love the styles with pockets the color is great too. Fit is perfect not overly large looking sit nicely and just to wear alone with jeans/or over tops. Could dress up or casual, very comfortable. Did not wear it yet, or wash it,

I fell in love with this jacket whenever I first tried it on! It fit just right, Not too loose and not too tight. Its a great jacket for nice and casual. I can't wait until it gets a little chillier so that I can wear it out more often!

First time customer here. Ordered the pink chore coat, and love it! Fit is very true-to-size (I’m 5’6”, 145 lbs, got a M), fabric is good quality, and even the buttons are nice! My favorite thing is, I believe this is a coat any girl or woman regardless of age would like. I plan to wear it for everyday with jeans and khakis. Hey Madewell: how about cranking out some new colors in the chore coat in time for Xmas. It’s not like we will probably be willing or able to visit the brick-and-mortars this year for shopping!

This jacket is perfect for early fall in the Midwest. It's lightweight but sturdy, great for the transition from summer to fall. I am 5'4 and 145lbs and ordered a size Small. It fits wonderfully with a light shirt underneath, but would size up if I wanted to wear it with a thicker sweater or if I wanted it to be a little longer. For what it's worth, I usually wear a Small at Madewell when I want something more fitted, and a Medium when I want a slightly oversized look.
