Took a chance on a cute top, as I haven't purchased a Madewell item for me (yes for my daughter), and wasn't sure how it would fit. But per the reviews, it ran slightly big, but only slightly once I tried it on. I am very long waisted and wasn't sure how it would sit on me, but it was nice, not too short at all. So comfy.

I think this top does run slightly on the smaller size. I am a small in tops at madewell, but opted for a medium after reading some reviews. I do have slightly broad shoulders and the top fits perfectly with no pull on the buttons. The fabric is softer than I imagined it (a plus!) The sleeves are not tight around the arm. The top fits exactly how it does on the model with her hair up. Cant wait to wear with jean shorts, and white jeans all summer! A great neutral to wear over and over.

I always buy the same kinds of casual shirts in neutral colors so when I saw this top, I knew it would be the perfect addition to my closet. It’s neutral but also an upgrade from a casual tee without being too dressy. I’m obsessed, love the fit, makes me feel feminine! I also bought it on sale so that helped too. I always am a size S in the Madewell vintage tees, whisper tees and I bought a small in this top. True to size!

I’ve worn this top twice in the last week on vacation. It’s super easy to pack and wash/ take care of- doesn’t require steaming or ironing to look good just thrown on. It has enough design (gingham check, cute buttons) and structure elements (puff sleeve) to make an outfit with just a pair of jeans on. Runs a bit small so size up- but I also really like the shorter length with high waisted pants!!

I sized up based on other reviews and wished I would have ordered my regular size. For refernce, I am a 34DDD and usually wear a medium and ordered a large and it fit a bit loose, no pulling at the buttons at all. Material is a poly blend so be aware it is a bit heavier. My sleeves looked like the size small model (longer) so I would say the photos are accurate. Overall a cute top!
