It’s not all fun on our photo shoots (but it’s still pretty fun).
“Sunny but freezing,” is how our creative director, Alice, describes the team’s mornings in Morocco. The temperatures would climb steadily into the afternoon, so layers were key. “We’d go from bundled up and drinking tea to stripped down and worried about sunburn,” she says.
With days that started at 4am, there was definitely a little bit of downtime on set. Lucky for the crew, someone thought to bring a soccer ball.
Alice’s favorite part of the trip? The people. “Shoots are so much work, but when you have the right team it feels like the best kind of adventure.” A close second? The food. “I’m still dreaming of a tagine I ate,” she says.
