Jan 17, 2024First Madewell Jeans Purchase! No Regrets!
This was my first Madewell jeans purchase. I honestly don't know why I waited so long. The quality is great and fits well. It's like the modern mom jeans that can be styled up or down. I sized up because I wasn't sure what size would fit well for the style. I'm glad I did because I ended up being able to wear them through some of my pregnancy. Otherwise, a simple belt did the trick.

I love these jeans. They feel slightly more wide-legged than my other perfect vintage jeans. They make my legs look longer. I usually wear a 31 or 32 and the 32 I bought fits comfortably. The light wash feels airy and will be nice for summer.

Love these jeans, love this wash! In the lighter wash jeans which I tend to wear in the summer I usually end up getting a 25p instead of my regular 25. Same with these.

I am a huge fan of the perfect vintage jeans. These are absolutely beautiful. The color is super light perfect for spring/summer and the length is at the bottom of my ankle (full length for me at 5’3”). Normally I am a 28 in every other brand, but I’m a 26 in perfect vintage and stovepipe. I’m 132lbs, built straight up and down. I bought these during the Black Friday sale and they only had 25 so I figured I’d roll the dice even though they are final sale. They are quite snug but doable if they stretch. I’m saving for summer so I don’t know if they stretch but the fit is similar to heathcote - ridged but moldeable so fingers crossed. If I had the option I would have bought my normal madewell size of 26. I’d say to go down 2 sizes from your regular size in other brands or your normal madewell size. Bummed they seem to be discontinued.

These jeans are terrific! I read the other reviews and sized down one size where it was tough to button them but I'm so glad I did! Just truly trust the process-- they stretch out and become incredibly comfy. I can't wait to wear these in even more so they feel like a second skin <3 Love these jeans
