When it comes to casual footwear, Soludos proves there's life
beyond sneakers. Nick Brown, a British expat who now resides in New York, was inspired to bring his laid-back shoe of choice to his newly adopted city. These leather espadrilles have the traditional details you'd expect (jute soles, a lightweight construction) but with a modern platform sole and laces you can wrap around your leg.

I love these espadrille, platforms are conformable, tanned leather goes with everything, suede straps are stretchy where they don’t squeeze your legs too much. I’m a size 6 and these in size 6 fits me. (initially feels tight, but they seem to break in. I tried size 7 which was way too big. Eventually they need to make half sizes...) However, they made a huge mistake making heel cups. They flare out on top. It’s tight on your heel where it rubs hard. And it’s too big on top of your heel where there is a big gap. They have similar negative reviews on their company website. Too bad, I have to return them.

Love the shoe, at least the way it looks but I cannot walk in them. The back part hurts your heel when you walk. I thought maybe it'll loosen a bit or something, but i've probably wore them 3 times and it's horrible. I don't really understand why it hurts but it does. It's something about the way the back peep heel fits that it hurts when you walk.
