I really like this skirt! I have the berry color in this style and the striped one is a nice addition. It fits tts at the waist and I like that you can dress this up or down.

Runs slightly small comparatively for Madewell (I feel like Madewell, in general, runs big). So, then runs true to size based on overall sizing? That's hard to explain. It's cute, high-quality, and fits in a little snug in my waist. I got an XS, and I bounce between XS/S at Madewell.

I LOVE this skirt and hope Madewell continues to make more similar to this style. I am a young mother to three busy little kids 4 and under, but I don’t want to sacrifice style for function. This skirt gives me both. I feel cute and feminine in it, but it is long enough so I can still play and sit on the floor with my kiddos without fussing with it and the material doesn’t wrinkle very easily. Every skirt should have pockets (so glad this one does) and I love how it fits around your natural waist; flattering and it stays put. I have a small waist and fuller hips/legs so I love this style. I was right in between sizes (0 & 2) , but went with the smaller size so the skirt wouldn’t slip down. It’s snug but not too tight. I could probably move the button over a bit for more room if I wanted to adjust it. For reference, I’m 5’4, 120 lbs with a 27” waist. I’d love to see a black, navy, maroon and plain chambray in this same style! It’s nice to see something that’s more of a staple.

I got this and the berry colored one and noticed that this one is slightly thinner fabric wise and it fits a bit smaller than the berry one. Overall, the style is wonderful and I want to buy as many colors of these as possible!

This skirt is very comfortable and looks good dressed up or dressed down. I know it will get a lot of wear. I love it. It has pockets which is also a must for me.

This skirt is comfortable to wear, machine washable and one of those peices that will always be in style. What's not to love? The midi is on the longer side, hitting me mid calf (I'm 5'4"), but with the buttons it can be adjusted a bit for heat and is also a bit flirty. The fabric is a great weight, feeling breathable but not so flimsy its gonna fly up at any breeze or stick to itself. The buttons are very on-trend, and yet will still look good next summer because, well, its a classic piece. I've worn the skirt with everything from a simple t-shirt or tank to blouses to chambray shirts. It goes with literally everything. I found it ran true to size.
