I love the style of the skirt and the color, but it was really large. I sized up one based on the reviews, but I thought it would be more of a mini skirt. It just wasn't flattering and was way too big.

I love the color. It's a bit darker than shown on the website. But I prefer that - it's a pretty burgundy color. This goes well with a lot of tops and is warm.

I had this saved in my loves for so long and was so happy to get it on sale during the Insiders event! I am a size 26 in all my pants and found that the size 4 fit perfectly! There are two buttons- one that clasps on each side (the first button is hidden with the way the skirt wraps. The material is sturdy so I hope it will hold up well!

The best part about this skirt is that it is short without being too short or revealing. For context, I have a very short torso with long legs so finding a skirt that fits right can be challenging. I'm petite (waist: 23") & purchased a XXS/00. As is the skirt fits my waist relatively well, slightly looser than I would like but no gaps around waist, especially if I tuck in a sweater. I ended up moving the buttons 3/4" over and now it fits perfectly. It is a super versatile skirt: I love that I can wear it with a sweater, a t-shirt or a sleeveless top. As usual, it matches with so many other madewell tops and shoes - current and from the past.

I would buy this skirt in many colors and fabrics. It’s a perfect A-line shape that actually fits the waist and skims the hips! It’s long enough for work, but still a cute mini style. Please make more skirts like this!
