I absolutely love this pair of jeans. It is cut high enough that there are no silly muffin top opportunities and they are very easy to bend and move in. I am a curvy hourglass and find that they sit right at the smallest part of my waist perfectly. They are a little thick in my opinion to wear inside high boots so I usually cuff the bottoms and wear with booties. Please buy these jeans!!!!

This was my first pair of Madewell jeans. I'm 5'6" 130lbs and I typically wear a 28 or size 6. After reading the other reviews, I ordered a size 27 and they fit perfectly. I wore these jeans for a week and they didn't bag out at all - a first for me. I love the fit so much that I can overlook the cheap-looking whiskering, which is much more prominent in person that in the picture. Madewell, please offer non-whiskered blue denim! I expect my jeans to last for a couple of years, at least. Other reviewers have complained about high riser skinny skinny jeans tearing after only a few months. Fingers crossed that these don't fall apart.

wow. these jeans are amazing. they fit perfectly and don't stretch out. unlike some stretch denim that feels/looks cheap, these jeans feel very high quality. the denim is super soft. amazing. buy them.

I have loved every pair of Madewell jeans I've bought. I have eight or so pairs. The sizing is very consistent, I'm always a 26 (waist 24" hips 36/37"). Some of their denim fabrics are thicker/thinner than others, so not every jean is exactly the same in weight, but nonetheless they are very consistent in fit. It is true that they do not bag out, even after multiple washes and wears. I've had some pairs for a year or more and they're good as new. They're worth the money. This pair is on the thicker side of their denim, and I actually think they're a little lighter in color than the picture shows, making the wiskering less apparent. They have an ever so slightly greenish tint to them which is probably only evident when directly compared to a bluer jean. Nice casual, medium jean color. I am a fan of the "high" rise (which is not all that high), very leg and hip flattering.
