So I bought this gift for my girlfriend for her birthday and she loved it specially having g it monogrammed with her initials, also the material was well made. I would recommend this purse as a gift for any lady. Even her friends are jealous and want one as well.

I have the transport tote in 4 different colors but this one is Amazing. You can miss this tote bag, it is very simple and chic, it goes with every outfit. The color is very nice and the quality of the leather is very soft. Love it!!!!

May 18, 2015The Transport Tote in Dried Rose
I have been wanting a transport tote for quite some time. I fell in love with the saddle color but decided to wait. When I saw this dried rose color tote, I knew I had to have it. I love the tint of rose to it. The bag is absolutely beautiful, but my only complaint is it has no structure whatsoever. I was a little disappointed when I got it, especially since it was a birthday gift from my husband. The saddle tote bag has thicker leather and better structure than this bag. I am almost afraid to use this bag because the leather is so soft. I wish there was a way to make the leather thicker and more durable. I can't see this bag lasting forever like Madewell mentions. This is the only Madewell purchase I have been disappointed in. I can't return it either since my husband got my bag monogrammed.

I really like the color, it is accurately depicted online. The bag itself is very pretty but it is super slouchy. The leather is very, very soft and when you put the bag down it just crumples into a puddle unless it is very full. I got the idea the leather was a bit thicker and the purse would be perkier from viewing it online. I wanted it to have more body. It looks super cute when you are wearing it but when you put it down it doesn't look as cute.. which isn't totally the point but it's worth mentioning I guess.

LOVE the mint color. While I like the soft leather, it makes the body of the bag too slouchy. The bag doesn't hold it's shape so it's almost like carrying around a sack.

Saw this at the store and fell in love with the color. I already have the english saddle transport tote and i love it. However, this is way way softer and slouchier than the one in english saddle. Somehow the shape is not as nice when worn as the base stretches out. It also crumples into itself when left on the chair. I am not sure if it will get worse over time as it gets more worn in. But I am keeping it because I have already used it once.

May 03, 2015Looks Amazing, doesn't hold up
I looked everywhere for the right bag to fit my laptop and some work files and landed on this one. I loved it but within two weeks, the leather on the bottom of the bag tore, approximately half an inch, right next to a seam. When I tried to return it, the store employee told me that I must have cut the bag with something sharp. The only things that had been in the bag were files and my laptop, which I feel it should have been able to handle. I paid to have the tear fixed, only to find the zipper on the inside pocket has become stuck, just a few weeks later. It just isn't holding up the way I would expect for a leather bag I've owned less than one month and that is advertised as "material that lasts forever." That being said, I still love the way it looks and wish these problems didn't exist.
