Trust me when I say that these are the most Perfect, flattering denim shorts. They are unique and comfortable with some stretch. Looks great with a tank, cropped shirt and bodysuits. The shorts were worth every penny spent.

Such a flattering cut on the bum and great quality. I’ve graduated to sustainable fashion recently and now buy less but spend more for lasting pieces. My True Size recommendation sold out so decided to get a size above when it came back in stock. It’s definitely oversized, but with the option of cinching in the waist as tight as I need it, it has the look of paper bag shorts on me. Loved it so much, got an additional pair in my actual size when they restocked. For reference, I have a 25 inch waist and would say 25 fits oversized with slight paper bag scrunching if you want it high-rise (I initially had to get 26). 24 will still fit but much closer to the waist with a very teensy room. I usually wait for substantial sales but this was definitely worth the splurge twice.

These shorts are ADORABLE, but I will say they run a little small only because they are not stretchy. I usually wear a 27 in stretchier jeans, and my "true fit" on the website said 28, so I ordered a 28. They do fit, but not quite as oversized as on the model so I do plan on reordering a size larger. SO cute overall but I would def recommend sizing up slightly for the cute oversized look :)

These were love at first sight! I even purchased them despite the fact that the Warm collabs were not on eligible for promo sale. They are the perfect shade of light summer blue denim. Thicker material, yet soft. Holds its shape. Perfect length and TTS for me. I take a 25P in all madewell and 25 in these. My ONLY complaint if there ever was one is that the "belt" is shorter (meant to knot) so tie-ing in a bow looks odd. I am so ready for this COVID-19 quarantine to be over so I can wear these!!

I'm so disappointed that these shorts run too small. I wear a 36 in all bottoms at Madewell, but these were close to 2 sizes too small for me. If you are plus sized, I think you may encounter the same problem, as these shorts have very little stretch compared to other Madewell denim. They fit wonderfully in the waist and thighs, but much too tight in the hips--so keep this in mind if you have wider hips/a bigger booty. They're incredibly cute and you can tell they're great quality, so it's a shame there's this fit issue.
