These shorts are the perfect high rise and the perfect inseam length. They are so flattering and incredibly comfortable. I love the panel on the side; it adds a little detail that I've never seen on any other pair of jean shorts.

Super stylish denim "mom" short. Fit great with a teeny bit more room than usual, but are very flattering. Good length and the contrast wash adds a little uniqueness but still keeps them simple.

I bought these on sale and am so glad I did! I'm 5'8", about 145 lbs and wear a size 28 - after washing them, the hems did fray a bit but I feel like that adds to the look. They are a little shorter than I expected, but I really like them!

Great fitting stylish denim shorts. Fit great, super comfortable and flattering. Perfect length and the contrast inset makes them different from every mom short or short short you see everywhere. Great quality and fun to wear. Bought 2 sizes and the smaller fit great!

I’ve tried on so many shorts this summer and these are the only ones that have fit. I’m in love. I’m 5’7” and 145 lbs. I have athletic thighs and a smaller waist. In madewell I’m typically a 28 and these were no different. While many things are tight on the thighs and loose in the waist, these were perfect in both. I love the pieced detail.

these shorts are really cute, and I like that they are roomy around my thighs so that I feel like I have skinnier legs than I actually do. On the model, the shorts are a lot tighter, but I ordered them a size up since I just had a baby, and I love how they fit.

I have such issues finding good quality shorts that fit my legs and booty area. These shorts fit everything! I'm actually shocked. Perfect length to where nothing is hanging out and keeps my tummy controlled and the fabric has a little stretch to it. I would definitely recommend these shorts for woman who are a little curvier than usual. I'm so excited for summer now!

Like a few of the other reviews, I am unsure why these shorts received such poor reviews. When looking at reviews, I was a little hesitant to purchase this pair because of the negative reviews that I was reading. However, they were an excellent price, so I took a chance, and I am happy that I did. I am a 25 in the high rise jeans and based upon a few of the other reviews I decided to go with a 24 and they fit perfectly. They are a nice length and long enough that I can cuff them at the bottom if I decide that I want to. They are incredibly comfortable and cute; I am overall happy with this purchase.
