Perfect slim fit

These were the first style of jeans I purchased when I wanted to move away from skinny jeans

Comfy and quality

Love these jeans! They're my third pair of stovepipes and fit the same as the other two. I got them on sale and they were a steal!

In love again!

I had fallen in love with the Perfect Vintage Straight Jeans and thought it couldn't get any better than that, but then I found the Stovepipes. Absolutely love them! The are so comfortable and versatile since they can be dressed up a bit easier than the Perfect Vintage Straight. The white didn't flatter me as much (the material is slightly thinner on the white and just didn't look as smooth), but I have been living in both shades that are currently available in the blue. I hope a dark indigo and black will be released later. These are also a great choice if you happen to live in a hot climate because the material is a bit lighter in weight than some of the other Madewell jeans. I wouldn't call it "lightweight," but it is more comfortable than the weight of the Perfect Vintage Straight jeans on a warm day.

Truly the best

These jeans are the BEST. I’m 5’7”, but have a long torso and shorter legs, so I struggle to find jeans that fit right and are a good length. These are PERFECT. Worth every penny, truly. They are so comfy, and have the perfect amount of stretch.

Great all around

I was in a store when introduced to this jean. Since then I am building a collection. These are comfy and fit so well. Just the perfect amount of stretch, length choices, and waist height. I am late 50’s and they work for me. My new go-to jeans.

Soft and stretchy

So far so good! Haven't washed them yet, but they have just enough stretch, but don't stretch out if you know what I mean. Did have to size down per the recommendation of the denim specialist in the store. Love the color, they are my new favorite jeans.

Middle ground between skinny and bootleg

I was looking for jeans that were not as tight as skinny jeans, but weren't too baggy/loose, and a sales associate recommended these stovepipe jeans. I was little skeptical at first, but when I tried them on, they were exactly what I was looking for. The material is stretchy, and does stretch out a bit upon wear, but that also makes these jeans very comfy. I would size down one size - even trying them on in the store, my regular size for jeans was a little too loose. I bought one size lower than my normal size. I'd definitely buy these jeans if there is a good sale. Price is a little high for what I normally pay for jeans, but I'll see if they are durable and last long enough to make them worth the price.

So comfy even for my curvy body!

These jeans are fantastic! Seriously, I can't get over it. I am 5'2" and a curvy 135lbs and bought size 26. I tend to not find jeans that are big enough to allow for my rounded hips/butt, small enough to then fit my hourglass waist, and short enough not to need hemming, but somehow, these jeans fit in all three spots! These jeans fit better than any other pair i've ever owned! The high waist doesn't dig in nor does it give me the mom-vibe, the hips/butt is snug but doesn't pull, and then length hits perfectly at my ankle (I am a 26" inseam). Seriously, this is some serious Sisterhood of the Travel Pants magic! The fabric is soft, too. Jeans are always a step up from loungewear, but this is the first pair that doesn't make me sad to have to put on hard pants. They are just stretchy enough to give, without pulling when I try to bend or sit. Seriously, if you have difficulty fitting off-the-rack pants, give these a try!

New favorites

Madewell’s stovepipe jeans are my new favorites! They fit perfectly without bagging out throughout the day. The denim is high quality. I also have the stovepipe jeans in Euclid wash which are also amazing! The dearham wash stovepipes are a little longer than the Euclid wash stovepipes and so they require one small cuff to hit where I want them to (5’6” tall). My only complaint is that I wish stovepipes were offered in a darker wash.
