I love this bag. Amazingly my husband found it at Nordstrom, but they only had it in red. I love how versitale it is and how you can adjust the straps accordingly. It’s the perfect simple weekend purse or simple going out bag. It has two compartments and a spot for cards, too. I love it!

I absolutely love this bag! I purchased it in the brown color and it’s so versatile. The chain strap is convertible, which I love. It’s the perfect casual night out bag and fits my essentials. As is typical with Madewell bags, the leather is beautiful, the chain is heavy, and it’s wearing in perfectly. I toss it in my Tote when I have after work plans. Just love it!

This bag is absolutely perfect for my needs, its small but fits all the necessities as well being incredibly beautiful. I would totally recommend to everyone, but be aware that if you typically carry a big bag this may not work for you.

This is a very sweet purse...smaller than I was anticipating but adorable nonetheless. I purchased the black and it shows great versatility - can go from day to evening easily. Well constructed although not lined.

I love this bag! I have been looking for a small black cross body bag and saw this one in store. Not sure why the other reviewer sounds so upset about the size when the size is in the description... Anyways if you're looking for a small bag this is SUPER cute. It fits my small Madewell leather zipper pouch thing, my iPhone 6, and my car keys. This is definitely not a bag for you to carry bunch of your stuff in but perfect if you just need your card/cash and keys. The only thing I'm worried about is that the chain part will get rusty over time. Besides that I LOVE IT!! Super cute

This purse looks effortlessly chic, but it requires quite a bit of effort to use because it's tiny. I can fit my Android phone, small wallet and lip gloss, but it's tight. I love the look, so I'll make it work, but I could see size being a deal breaker for some. Also, I'm only 5'1", and the chain is too short to wear crossbody just FYI.

this bag is just what it is: perfect for going out. it is not fancy, but just has all the right elements. the chain and the simple design does the trick. Indeed it is small, but I find it nice for putting credit card, ID, keys and lip stick and maybe a couple other things in.

The size precludes everyday use. This isn't the transport, after all. But, when I want only a handful of items and zero clutter, this is perfection. The quality is evident and the chain is versatile. Love it.

Like the other reviewer, I ordered this bag online as well and when I got it in the mail I was shocked at how TINY it was (obviously I didn't read the dimensions) which explains my reaction. I wanted to keep this bag but it barely fit my phone with the chunky otter box case on and definitely wouldn't hold my other necessities so I returned it. This is definitely more of a "wallet" style crossbody. Otherwise, it's so cute and I loved the chain detailing - I would totally re-buy this if it was 2x the size.

I loved the size and style but when it arrived it both my roommate and I agreed it was oddly short, falling just above the hip - not at the lower hip or at least not adjustable - I'm 5'8 but pretty average torso size and small bust so was surprised and bummed - so now I just use it as a little hand bag because the chain can be doubled. AND i got it monogrammed so womp womp .
