These are my first pair of madewell jeans and I'm a huge fan! I bought my size according to the sizing chart and because these have a looser, more generous fit they are actually too large. I bought them final sale, so I will just have them taken in at the waist at a tailor because other than them being loose around they midsection, they are AWESOME. Good quality denim. Next time, I will just size down, no biggie!

As a plus size girl who is an apple shape these jeans are perfect because they are high waisted and hugs my whole belly with out restricting my breathing or being tight on the sides. They are very easy to style and look great with a regular t-shirt or a nice blouse! The only negative is that they are long but I’m only 5’0 so Most jeans fit me long even when I get petite. Overall, the fit is fantastic and the jeans are literally well made!

They are very comfortable and true to the photo. They are VERY high waisted as you'd probably expect from the name. The denim is more stiff than stretchy but I like that as its not a "jeggings" look. The hole in the knee is fairly large and will probably continue to get larger so that could be a negative for someone. Overall very happy with them!

Every mom jean I have tried from Madewell seem to run one size too big. So I went with a size 28 instead of my regular 29 and the fit was perfect. I love the higher rise. The jean seems a like a sturdy denim with a bit of stretch which is amazing! I’m 5’2 and this hit me right at my ankle which isn’t a big deal. I like to roll my jeans anyways. Overall very pleased!

My new go to pair of jeans! The fit is great and makes me feel slimmer. The waist is super high so it’s really flattering. I usually don’t like this wash, but it’s surprisingly nice. I got a lot of compliments on the jeans!

I have been looking for a pair of comfortable “mom” jeans, and these hit the mark. These have an amazing high rise and the quality you expect from madewell denim. They are roomier around the hips but cinch in at the waist (almost like a slight paper bag pant silhouette). I ordered these on sale and they didn’t have my normal size, so I went one size up but I would recommend definitely staying TTS or going down a size. They are rather big on me but it’s okay for the look and comfort I wanted them for - I’ve already worn them multiple days in a row. Also I am 5’3” and cuffed them; I would have preferred a petite length in these for both the length and placement of the knee rip. Overall, great comfortable jean that doesn’t look too frumpy (even in a size up) due to quality denim and the distressing, but stay TTS or size down.

I LOVE these jeans. They've quickly jumped to the top of my favorites list. They hug in all the right spots, accentuate my curves without digging into my belly, and look fun with the distressed knee. They are definitely high waisted--they go past my belly button--but I like that because it's slimming on my little mini-paunch that I'm trying to trim down. I'm 5'2, about 115 pounds, and bought these in the 24 regular inseam and do cuff them, but I also like that look better. If you're in any way shape or form a fan of momjeans or slim straight, BUY THESE.

I’m about 5’2 and 120lbs. I originally bought my usual size which is a 24 but they were a little too baggy in the front and they also came so far up my torso. I decided to exchange for a 23 and they fit perfect! The waist is fitted with a little space as described in the description and high rise isn’t as high. So, I suggest sizing down when buying these. I love them- I have already worn them a few times this week!

My first pair of "mom jeans" and my boyfriend only showed a slight concern on his face. I love them! I bought them in a 27 (my regular Madewell size, 5'4 130 lbs) and kind of wish I sized down, as they are a little large. It's definitely too late to exchange them now, as it's been a few weeks, but I love them so much I might go to get them tailored to fit me perfectly! Great jean, buy them!
