I bought these shorts at first in a 25 - way too tight that it was uncomfortable. I had to “size up” to my normal size outside of madewell (26). I was surprised because I always sized down with baggier styles. Regardless, they fit great and comfortable

These shorts are great! I'm absolutely in love with the color and the quality is fantastic (like all Madewell denim). They do run a little small, though; I'm usually a size 26 and I ordered them in a 26 but I ended up returning them and getting a 27 (and even now they're still a little tight but they loosen up a bit each time I wear them). They're also quite short! I'm 5'10 and they're pretty cheeky on me, but I still feel comfortable enough to wear them on casual occasions. Overall, I really like these shorts and the color is exactly as advertised.

These shorts had the most bizarre fit in the most unflattering way. The waist is small and fitted and then the leg opening is huge so that the shorts looked like a bell on me. The bottoms flared out in a very unflattering way. Maybe it would look better on someone curvier than myself. For reference, I ordered my usual size, a 27, and I think it was the right size. I can’t imagine going any bigger!
