Had these jeans for a couple weeks and already turned them into my go-to pair! I've gotten a lot of compliments on the straight leg style. They are a bit stretchy, so you might want to size down. I tried them first in my regular size + tall because I wanted to make sure they were full length (I'm 5'6 1/2"), but those ended up being too long and had a big gap at the back. Sized down w/ regular length and that did the trick! Definitely start to stretch a bit with wear, but not so much that they'll fall down.

These jeans are so so so comfortable!! I ordered a 26 which I usually am in madewell jeans and they fit perfectly! They are super stylish and look great on! I’m 135lbs and 5”2 for reference. Love these jeans !!!! New fav pair!

I’m a tried and true 28 in Madewell and these fit perfectly! I have a curvy/hourglass figure with most weight in hips and butt. These do not gap at the waist and are a great straight leg. I got the regular length so I could wear with heeled boots. I excepted the inseam to be a bit longer but they still work! I do wish they were 100% cotton. It seems like the stretchy black jeans tend to ripple on the side seam in ways the 100% cotton jeans don’t.

No exaggeration, my denim drawer is like 95% madewell and I own 20+ pairs. These are my favorite favorite favorite. Rise is absolutely perfect, butt looks great, the length is 10/10 for any kind of shoes but extremely fashionable with boots. Even though they’re distressed, every style feels elevated + nicer with these on. I think I could sell like all my other jeans and just wear these every day if I wanted to. They definitely have more stretch than other perfect vintage styles and are super comfortable (TTS but size down if you’re in between). Buy them!

I purchased these on Black Friday and am so happy I did - I love them! I did size down to a 27 (I'm normally a 28/29 in jeans but I know Madewell can stretch and didn't want them to be too big over time) and they fit perfectly. I seriously keep wearing them every day because I love the look and feel. I'm 5'8" and about 160 lbs - athletic, slightly curvy build - Def have a booty and some thighs and love that they have more of a looser fit, not super fitted through the thighs. Perfect vintage look :)

The high rise on these is great without being too tight but somehow still hugging your butt ;) There is just enough stretch so that the rip in the knee doesn’t get ruined if you’re moving around. I’m an athletic build and straight legs tend to be most flattering for me so these are definitely a new favorite.
