Jan 11, 2025Perfect fit for tall not leggy
Tall and cropped are ankle pants on me, just an inch or so longer than on the model but still short-ish. Ideal fit, the rise is long enough and that's hard to find. These are ridiculously flattering, wide leg crop usually makes anyone look like a refrigerator but something about this fit really works. I like the seam down the back, it looks good. The color is a little hard to match, I don't have much warm toned stuff but it's fine with black or white.

Jan 02, 2025Tall and cropped is perfect ankle length
The Madewell Tall is the best fit for me in the rise, but too long in the inseam. These pants land on me just a little lower than on the model, but not much, and that actually looks better in the wide leg style. I am so beyond satisfied with these, they are flattering, the color is a yellowish khaki, it is classic but not boring; the size is perfect. I am 5'9" but not leggy, so most pants are wedgie city, these have a comfortable rise that lands in the right place but are not too long. Husband says "your butt looks so good in those pants" so even though they are loose in the legs they are snug enough in the hips and butt to be flattering.

I bought both the Khaki and Grove color waves and absolutely love them. I'm 5'5, 115lbs with a lean/muscular build. Purchased both a 23 tall and 24 regular. They fit wonderfully and each provide a slightly different style based on the fit. The regulars are slightly cropped, tall meets at the top of my shoes. Really big ran of this style.

These are amazing!! The fit is absolutely true to your regular Madewell size, and they have a great stretch, so they're super comfortable! Also, a little hack...if you aren't actually tall enough for the "tall" sizing, ordering these in a tall made them normal length for me, rather than cropped! I'm 5'5" and they just graze the floor without shoes on! I want to wear these into fall and winter and didn't think that the crop would be as transitional. Perfection! They look great with boots with a small heel too!

Perfect casual office pants. So comfortable if you are sitting all day but don't stretch out from sitting all day. I ordered the 24T my typical Madewell size and they are the perfect length for me. I'm obsessed ordering more ASAP!!

Perfect pant for in-between seasons as they aren't too heavy or light weight. I'm 5'9" and purchased my normal Madewell jeans size of a 25T, they fit perfect. The blue is less saturated in-person, and I do wish they were slightly longer, but I think the length will be fine with sandals or flats.

Iāve been a big fan of emmet for yeeeears but the seam detail down the back has got to go. This is the first season I havenāt gotten a new pair bc Iām waiting for the design team to undo this egregious choice. It looks like a mistake. Hope this influences someone to fix this for next season! Such a bummer!

I am 5ā10ā and purchased the tall, which said it had a 30ā inseam. It was several inches above my ankle despite a 30ā typically being plenty long enough for me. The color was also less rich and dark in person and instead reminded me of oxidized copper.

I never actually received this product. I ordered the Emmett pants but they ended up sending me a shirt instead. When I contacted them they told me Iād have to send the shirt back for a refund and then re purchase the Emmett pants. Such a hassle.
