To say that I love this bag is an understatement - this bag is amazing! I have two small children so a large bag is a must for me. I have purchased other totes from Madewell and used them absolutely to death so I had no reservations about buying another. I have gotten many compliments and to date, this is my favorite bag from Madewell.

This bag is sturdy and super roomy with out the dowdiness of a tote. I love it! As another reviewer said, it works for all ages. I can think of several occasions that it'll be my go to bag.

I highly recommend this tote...the suede is high quality and a perfect weight. The fringe is so unique and the color is gorgeous. Because of its quality, you can really load it up without worry. The greatest thing is that it has all the functionality of a large shopping tote and the beauty of a stylish handbag. Perfect all the way around! You will not regret purchasing it! (I also got it on sale which was a bonus!)

I was pleasantly surprised to see this gorgeous soft suede fringe tote in store. The color shown online definitely doesn't provide this tote justice. In person - the deep chestnut color comes off as an olive brown with a tinge of green. I'd recommend you waterproof it before wear with a spray on suede protector and add a purse base plate inside to provide support and prevent the bag from bottoming out. It's unlined inside but does have an interior zip pocket for keys or cellphone that roughly measures 7x7. Highly recommend this piece

I recommend this tote to anyone on the fence about it. The weight of the suede is substantial and will wear well. The color is a nice rich taupe. There is one large deep pocket inside the bag that fits my large sized phone so I can find it easily. And as for the fringe....it makes the tote!

This bag both cute and classy. It's not too much fringe- it's the perfect amount and the suede look is beautiful especially in person. I would recommend this bag to anyone of any age. It is shaped like the original transport tote but because it is suede and unlined it is a little flimsy but its perfect for a school/work bag because you have things in it to keep it upright.

Hello. I enter in store and see this bag. Suede is very soft. Fringe. Yes. Not for everybody. But they are very ,very discrete .It was love from first sight. Finally I ordered on line .There was 30% discount.... Waiting my bag.........

The bag is stylish and trendy but it's larger than expected and sags when there's nothing in it. The material is heavy. A good bag for occasions but not everyday.

The ONLY reason I returned this was the size. It's just too big for me. Same goes for the leather version of this tote for me. So, if you have the leather transport tote or know you love that, then this is great. The quality is great and the fringe looks really nice. Very soft. Color is really nice. Wish it were smaller.
