Y'all Run Don't Walk
If anyone is curvy and looking for a high waisted wide leg full length pant, this one is for you. I am normally a size 31 curvy in Madewell jeans and pants and these fit like a glove. I am 5'8'' size 31 with bigger hips, thighs, and butt. The waistband is snug around the waist but flares out nicely along the leg. If you are wanting a looser waist fit, size up. The fabric is a nice weight, not too heavy nor too thin. The pattern is nice and subtle while adding a pretty texture and cool style.

almost! need inseam options
Purchased a size 4. I usually wear a 4 or a 6 in pants, depending on the brand. Pros: the 4 fit well at the waist and the waistband landed at the ideal high-rise trouser spot, the pants seemed to be well-constructed and had pockets, and I liked the color. Cons: the corduroy felt a bit thin and they were just too long for me. The length was the deal-breaker -- the inseam would have needed to be at least 2 inches shorter to keep me from walking and tripping on these. At this price, it's not worth hemming them. If there were different inseams available, I might have exchanged them, but alas! Not an option. Returned.

love love love but waist is TIGHT!
I had to size up in these pants from my normal madewell size (almost always a 12, this time a 14). The waist is pretty snug but that's also the style. But the pants are VERY cute! I like that its a lighter corduroy fabric, so you won't get overheated in them. Definitely can be dressed up or down.

Suuuuuper cute…
These are so so so cute. I love them. However the corduroy is wildly thin. It is a summer weight material but a winter fabric. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ripped this winter- it’s so thin. I’m super disappointed in that. I also sized down one size and I am SWIMMING in them still. I’m normally an 8/M, I bought a 6 and need a 2 or a 4. I’m really bummed I didn’t know these things when I ordered. For the price the quality should be high. It is not.

Missed the mark
I wanted to seriously love these pants. I love the idea of them but MW missed the mark. I feel like some minor tailoring could make them work. MW, up your game! These are not flattering in any sense of the imagination.

Too small at the waist and too baggy in the leg
I wanted so much to love these pants because the fabric and colour are amazing...and and I appreciate a long length in the leg too (as a tall person of 5'8). BUT...I have to return these because my usual size 2 is too tight and just too uncomfortable. I won't size up because the rest of the pant is just massive...apart from the tight waist, I am swimming in these pants, and I do have a booty, but still they seem gigantic around the thighs. They are just too oversized for me.

Not Flattering
I am 5.4 and 125 lbs and ordered the size 4. The pants are very unflattering. To be flattering, the flare pants should hug the thighs and flare below your behind, without too much fabric around the belly and crouch area. The rise is uncomfortably high, and the waist is too tight – it pinches exactly the stomach area. The material is light and soft. With the right construction these would be very nice pants.

Absolute garbage
I’ve never purchased anything from Madewell before I decided to buy these pants — what a terrible first impression they made! For the price, they are absolute garbage. I’m a size 4-6 in pants, so I tried the M, and they are cartoonishly large and shapeless. The fabric is also cheap, uncomfortable crap; in my head I’d imagined it would be some luxurious, soft, high-quality corduroy, but they hardly even feel like corduroy at all. Just bad all around.

The quality feels like a flimsy old used towel
I've noticed that the quality of the materials in Madewell clothing has changed drastically over the years. The prices are similar to today but their quality used to be so good and worth the price tag. However, these pants do not feel like corduroy because it feels cheap and thin on the skin. In addition, it's not flattering type of wide leg pants. It made me look like a mini fridge on the bottom, all boxy and wrinkly. The multi-colored is not pretty either. I was expecting a deep rich navy blue color as seen on the website photos but in reality, it actually looks like a flimsy used towel that somehow made it into pants. Even washing it won't give me to results I was looking for.
