I bought this several weeks ago on a whim and I am so happy with it! I've worn it with jeans, slacks, skirts, heels, boots and sneakers - it goes with anything. I am generally a medium but often size up to a large in Madewell jackets because I've got broad shoulders and I think Madewell runs a bit small through the shoulders. I did that in this coat - the large gives me a bit of room to layer and doesn't feel overly boxy. Jacket is lined, and the collar is removable. I do wish the sherpa was perhaps a bit better quality, but overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. Would definitely buy again! 5'7, 145, 34C.

I live this jacket! Really cute. Not overly heavy but keeps me toasty, and I’m always cold. Has nice lining so it’s not itchy. Goes with everything. Can dress up for work and also wear for casual drinks on weekends. TTS. Ordered xs of usual xxs so I could layer.

Grabbed this on a whim from clearance, and instantly fell in love. It fits perfectly, is just the right length, and the Sherpa collar (while not my usual style) is gorgeous. Love that it has a high wool content, seems very warm. For reference, I’m 5’4”, 120lbs and bought the XS, which is my normal size in madewell tops usually. Fits perfectly, cute zipped or unzipped, and didn’t seem oversized like some reviews said.

I don’t have a cropped wool jacket so decided to try this on, and fell in love. The white collar caught my eye in the store: it’s elegant (and removable) and the zippers (and general motorcycle vibe) give it a lot of flair and edge. I tried on the small, which would looked great with a thick sweater. I’m usually an XS but bought the xxs because I liked the tighter, shrunken fit; looks just right with a thinner top. Will look good with the longer black wool skirt that’s on trend this season, and definitely looks great with winter white jeans and cords. It’s a bit oversized, lined and will definitely keep me warm.

I haven't wore this yet because of our warm weather but it fits perfect. It's actually stunning on. The material is a soft wool blend, with a lot of details. I am 5'5" 135 bought size small, and the jacket hits at the hip and not tight fitting. Semi fitted. The detailing is very nice the material is soft and feels like it will be a nice jacket for going about the town.

Love how chic yet cozy this jacket is! Tuns true to size and so easy to style. The sherpa collar is not scratchy at all!Going to wear it all the time this fall, esp with my lace up leather boots.

The jacket fit well and the material itself was good quality, however the removable faux fur collar does not attach very well or lay flat and the fabric content (69% wool on the tag vs 75% wool on the website) listed on the tag is different from what is listed on the product listing page,

The jacket is not that outstanding at the first glance. But after try, you will feel it is stylish. The white sherpa colar make your skin look brighter. Different from the other jacket, it is short and fit your body Just right. It Could be better if theybuse 100% wool and make it more smooth and softer. It is true to size.
