Got my usual size 00 it fits very nicely, and I appreciate the adjustable straps. It is more of a maxi dress on me and goes down to my ankles as I am short, but I don't mind at all. The pattern and color are even more lovely in person. Also love that it is 100% cotton and got this on a great sale.

I tried this on in store and took a chance and ordered a size down online. it fits perfectly! not too big in the back, but you can still adjust the straps. this will be the perfect dress to wear on vacation!

I wasn't even dress shopping when I saw this dress in the store and had to try it on. It fit so perfectly and is very flattering. After I purchased it I started thinking of all of the times I could wear it before the summer is over. I also like that I can put a little white blouse over it and wear it to work during the hot fall days -- it will look like I have a skirt with a fantastic print, but the top will make it more modest for work. Best purchase!

Not the type of dress or print I would go for, but the stylist picked a handful of dresses for me and this was one of them. WOW. I am petite but curvy and this hugged me in all the right places. It’s buttery soft and super light material, perfect for the summer!

Just bought this dress and was torn between a size 6 (my usual size) or size 4. I am hourglass with a small bust, but the 6 bust felt loose and the 4 was better but below the bust it seemed snug. Ample cup size I would say and gives great coverage. Light fabric with tropical look which I plan on bringing to Hawaii! Smocked back and the ties have small loops to wear it as shown. The model on the site makes the dress not look the way it would be worn. She has a very straight figure as that is not how the dress fit on me. She is wearing it very low as there are gathers to fit the bust area... not to be worn pulled down as shown. So though I decided on the 6 and the 4 fit...ultimately I didn't want it too tight with bust roll on the back view.

I love the look of this dress. Comfortable but a bit hot due to the fabric. The downside is the zipper is very small so it's hard to zip up by myself..and after one wear it broke, the zipper came undone. I had to bring to my seamstress to get repaired and they have to replace it. I hope they can do better with their construction.

As someone with a 34F bust, I was curious about how this dress would look on me. I'm 5'4 and 175 lbs, and I tried on the size 8. It was a perfect fit, except for the bust. It exposed too much side boob and didn't look good with or without a bra. You'd think that, since Madewell's lead designer is a woman, that they would think about making bra-friendly dresses. But it feels like lately, they only design clothes for one specific body type. And I'm not it.
