I bought these in a size 25 curvy. I'm 122lb and 5'6" tall with 38.5" hips and 25" waist. The 25's are just a tiny bit tight in my thighs and glutes but I heard they loosen up. I like them so much that I would get them again in size 26 if these end up being too small. I would say these do run large because I am usually a size 26 curvy, or 28 in regular jeans with the waist taken in.

I am between sizes in jeans. Usually I’m either a 29T or 30T (in curvy). I got these in 30 and was really glad I did. However, after about 1 or 2 wears, they are already starting to loosen. They still fit well and there’s a good chance it might just be my body (I might be a 29 in the waist, but a true 30 in the hips and thighs). I may try to get these taken in a bit in the waist. It’s hard for me to say that these run large, but I would consider sizing down if you’re between sizes since the fabric is gonna loosen up a bit over time. Overall, I would still recommend as these are very cute and I really like the raw hem detail.

Just a great pair of jeans! I’m 5’10 weigh about 200 I got these in a 32 tall I probably could’ve gotten a 31. It accentuates my curves perfectly.

Oct 05, 2024Love the waist, leg needs work
I purchased these as a 5’8” 148 lb woman who needs a 34 to 36 inch inch inseam. The fit through the waist and hips is great, and the waist eliminates gapping. However, this is not a true tall, the final inch and a half of length is just the seam let out. The result is a raggedy hem; had I seen this when I purchased, I would’ve chosen differently. Please, make a real tall.

First time buying Madewell curvy jeans after dealing with too tight thighs and waist gap on their standard sizing and was disappointed to find yet another pair of jeans with major, major waist gap. I ordered my usual size, 29, and they felt at least 2 sizes too big around the waist but the right fit in the butt and thighs. Length was perfect, nice thicker material but man what a bummer fit. 6'0" tall and 165 lbs for reference, typically 29" waist, size 8.
