These jeans ARE THE CUTEST. They stretch out a bit as you wear but not enough for me to go down a size. I ordered my normal size 25 and they are so dang comfortable. The style is adorable and the little pain splatters- the cutest accents.

Madewell has made me a jeans hoarder with so many great styles and fits. Because my store doesn't get a lot of the edgier styles, I missed this pair until someone returned it. Even though the pair wasn't my size, I tried them and tried to make them work because I wanted them RIGHT NOW. Thankfully, wiser minds prevailed and my favorite MDW SD ordered them in the right size for me. That's that story - here are the jean details. Rivet & Thread seems to fit me best one size up from the usual. I guess the very HIGH WAIST, the thickness of the denim contribute to that? Heavyweight denim aside, these are very soft. One of the details I immediately fell in love with was the way the chewed up wide hem felt so soft and broken in when I walked. Honestly, I felt like a super stylish artist and that gave me a confidence boost. HOW CAN A PAIR OF JEANS DO THIS? WOW, what a story about these jeans!

These jeans are really unique! The insets on the sides really make these different and cool! You cannot really tell from the photos but they have sporadic small red and blue paint splatters throughout. They look truly vintage. They are adorable with Madewell sneakers! I purchased my regular size in Madewell jeans (25) and they fit true to size. No stretch, but still comfy! Definitely recommend!!

Functionality issue ....I like to be hands free and both back pockets had holes. Too much of a risk to lose a wallet or phone, returned the product

These are beautiful! I love the vintagey vibe, but I couldn’t get them buttoned, I’m curvy normally a 32, I ordered the 33 in these hoping after I read the reviews on a different pair of Rivet & Thread running really small but nope. If you a straighter build and usually get a larger size these will probably work and look amazing, if you are a curvier girl and wear larger sizes you may have the same problem I did ( I hope not because they are awesome..... just runs on the smaller side)
