These are really cute and true to size. The footbed is soft and comfortable however the edges up around your ankle are rough and stiff. To break them in I loosened the laces and wore thin white low cut socks and I haven't gotten a blister yet so we'll see how that goes. Also they aren't easy to slip on, you have to loosen the laces quite a bit to get your foot in. But overall still recommend!

Loving these sneakers! I've been looking for a comfy pair of white sneakers (which go with everything in my closet). And they are super comfy. I go between 7 and 7.5 in sneaker size and in Madewell shoes- but usually a 7.5. I was hoping to buy a size 7.5 but they were sold out, so I opted for size 7 just blindly hoping they'd fit...and they do! Maybe a little more on the snug side, but still totally comfortable to walk in. Very happy with this purchase!

Love the Sidewalk sneakers! The are comfortable and cute. I wear a 6 or 6 1/2 and the size 6 fit great (I almost always wear a size 6 in Madewell shoes). My foot is on the narrower side, but I don't these would be too narrow if you don't have a narrow foot.

I found these to be true to size but I also have narrow feet. If you have wide feet you may want to go up in size. I don’t anticipate a break in period. I’m sure the canvas will soften up with wear but they are comfortable right out of the box.

Overall, a great shoe! Like other reviews, they tend to dig into the outer part of the ankle bone, but I hope with some wear, the canvas will soften where it rubs the ankle.

These sneakers are very cute, but they are destroying the backs of my heels. As others have said, the material in the back of the shoe is very stiff and digs into the back of the heel. I keep hoping that they'll break in enough for me to wear them comfortably, but so far that hasn't happened.

I love how these shoes look, the style is spot on and exactly what you see online. Sadly, the shoe is so thin and hard on the back that it rubs into the back of your heal! It doesn't really matter the type or style of sock you have. I love the style but this shoe is not comfortable at all.
