I’ve been coveting this jacket for quite some time - I have a few oversized flannel shirts, and wanted something more polished, that would be easy to care for and look put together on Zoom calls and in person. This is a winner! I sized down from my usual small, to an XS (5’5”, 135lbs, 32B), which still fits a bit big, but not overly so, and glides over my waist/mid section (my problem area). The dried sage color is beautiful, and I really like the versatility of wearing it open as a jacket or buttoned as a shirt.

I love this Jacket- it’s so versatile! I purchased it after trying it on instore in a different color, where they didn’t have my size. I was sooo happy to find it and love the color.- it’s very rich. It’s a perfect length and the vegan leather makes me very happy! It’s a great quality, soft and supple too.

I bought it and thought maybe the vegan leather and the lighter color was possibly going to look cheap, but it’s quite the opposite. Obviously it’s not real leather but the feel and look of it is of good quality. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already, people think it’s vintage so that’s cool. The fit runs a little large but perfect for the look I wanted it to achieve, it’s roomy and not constricting like some leather jackets can be. Overall would buy this again

Love this jacket. The vegan leather is well made and buttery soft! And, the jacket is lined :) Like a lot of the reviewers, I sized down for a more fitted, streamlined look. But still have room if I want to wear a sweater underneath. (I am usually a S in Madewell and got a size XS in dried cedar.)

Beautiful coat & the vegan leather is extremely soft. I wear a small in jackets/coats, & the small fits my broad shoulders well & is a little oversized in the body. IMO the body is slightly larger than shown on the models. I’d think you’d have to size down if you don’t have broad shoulders.

This jacket has a trendier silhouette so I didn't want to spring for real leather--so glad Madewell has this option! It does run big (size down one size), but the shape and silhouette are sooo stylish. It'll make the perfect piece for fall.

I LOVE this jacket!! I was hesitant to buy this as I was afraid that it would fit more like a shirt than a jacket. The length is just right hitting my 2nd hip (for reference, I am 5’3 and a solid M). There is just enough room to wear a sweater inside during colder days and it has a perfect straight cut. I love the super soft material and the roomy pockets. I used it last week when the weather went down to the forties and it truly kept me warm. You won’t go wrong with this. I highly recommend!!!

This is exactly the jacket I’ve been searching for for a loooonnng time now. I have way too many moto style jackets, that I wanted something different. I tried both the xxs and xs and it just didn’t fit right. I couldn’t tell if this is meant to fit oversized? Either way, even the xxs was way too big. But if you can get the right fit, I’d definitely recommend it! Unfortunately I wasn’t the lucky one and had to return :(

absolutely loved this style in the previews, and i had to get it as soon as it came out. the quality is amazing, color is accurate, but the overall silhouette was a bit misleading. it’s definitely more of a shacket-like style in the cut (the hem is curved like a button down shirt, unlike a straight cut of a traditional madewell chore jacket). Still SUPER excited to wear in the fall! i’m 5’ and 120 lbs I got an XS and it’s just oversized enough that i have room to layer a sweater underneath for the winter.

Let me start by saying I was sooo excited to receive this. I've been looking for a jacket in this type of style for a while and the price point was too good to pass up. Don't get me wrong, this piece is incredibly high quality especially for vegan leather, but this just did not look right on me. Think the Matrix combined with a very large man's jacket. Just not a good combo. I will say I am a very fair skinned person and I think this color would be stunning on someone with a richer skin tone so keep that in mind. Overall great quality, but the style missed the mark for me!
