This dress is far better than my expectation. It is not itchy and super soft to the touch. The fabric texture is very similar to Melwood Square-Neck Sweater, which means it will pill, but I do have sweater comb to take care of that. I'm very straight figure so I worried that I would be shapeless in this dress, but I'm not. It is not a bodycon dress and it hugged my curve well. I can choose to wear a belt with it or not and the length is just right for a belt. Even with a belt, it won't have too much fabric gathered around your waist. Very versatile. I'm between XXS and XS. Since XXS was sold out, I bought the XS and it fit me well. No need to size down. The shoulder and sleeve details are subject to personal preference. For reference, I'm 5'4" with 27-28" waist, 34" hips. My usual size is between XXS/00 and XS/0 and size 25-26 in jeans.

This dress is everything you want in a sweater dress. It's a nice weight and the fabric feels good quality, while the balloon sleeves add that flair that make it different from any other sweater dresses you have in your closet. The color is also a perfect neutral, and looks great with bright colored scarves, socks, etc. I got my normal size S and I would say it fits true to size with a little wiggle room (not enough to size down, more like the perfect extra amount of fabric you want for after you finish your Thanksgiving dinner)

I’m a sucker for sweater dresses and puffy sleeves so I thought this would be perfect for me. I ordered a size large (I’m a size large across the board for Madewell dresses) and this was HUGE on me. Even after exchanging it for a medium it still felt quite unflattering and baggy. It’s cute and soft but wanted something that would hug my curves and be more flattering on my body type. It might be best to size down if u order this dress.

I was so hopeful for this dress but it missed the mark for me. It didn’t fit as expected at all. The sleeves were enormous, and it overall looked sloppy and not polished and chic as expected
