CASHMERE CARE
HOW TO HAND WASH YOUR CASHMERE + CASHMERE-BLENDS
STEP 1: USE A GENTLE DETERGENT
Fill a sink or bucket with lukewarm water, then add a small amount of a gentle detergent like Woolite (our experts recommend the Extra Delicate Care formula). For striped items or bright colors, dry cleaning is best, but if you prefer to hand wash, then add a little bit of white vinegar to the water and detergent mix. Submerge your item and swish it around. Then, let it soak for 10-15 minutes maximum before thoroughly rinsing it in lukewarm water.
STEP 2: PRESS + LAY FLAT TO DRY
Carefully press any remaining water out (without wringing or rubbing) and then lay it flat on a towel or rack to dry. Pro tip: roll your item up, along with the towel, like a sleeping bag to get it extradry before laying it flat on a clean, dry towel or rack out of direct sunlight.
STEP 3: WASH SPARINGLY
A good rule of thumb is to wash every four wears, unless you spill, sweat or have been around smoke.

HOW TO KEEP ITS SHAPE
ALWAYS LAY, NEVER HANG
Keep your knits in their original shape by laying them out flat to dry. Hanging any woven styles will cause them to stretch, especially ones with looser weaves.
FOLD OR ROLL
The best way to preserve your cashmere’s shape is to store it folded or rolled. If you have to hang it, fold it over the hanger with a sheet of tissue paper to prevent creasing.

HOW TO GET RID OF PILLING
GO SLOW WITH A RAZOR OR LINT BRUSH
The safest and easiest way to treat pesky pilling is to use a standard razor or a long-handled lint brush. At a 15-degree angle, comb in short strokes in a single direction. Turn your item inside out and repeat if needed.
REMEMBER TO RESHAPE
With your item turned inside out, steam or iron on a steam cycle to smooth any creases and return it to its original shape.
