I've been meaning to grab a white work shirt and bought this on a whim on sale. It's perfect! I'm 5'3 115lbs and got the XXS because I didn't want it to be too oversized. It's the perfect fit for me- not too oversized but not anywhere near tight either. Love!

Bought this shirt on a whim in the store when I was in there to return something else... this shirt has the same great feel as madewell's other classic white button down...i love the longer length (pairs super great with black leggings & booties or flats) and the side slit gives it that little extra flair... a great weekend shirt :)

I knew this was oversized, and wanted it to be. I probably could have gotten away with a smaller size, but I really like the way it looks. The sleeves are cut more closely to the arm, which balances the oversized fit and makes it look cool and easy. I took off one star because the fabric is thinner than I would like and somewhat sheer. I cannot seem to find a white shirt like this that is in a more substantial fabric. I still really like it, it washed well and was comfortable and slouchy without looking like a sack.

This is a good basic white shirt with a slight twist given the style. Overall the quality is decent but not great - since I got it on sale I'm keep it but don't think it's worth full retail price. I do have to wear a tank top under the shirt since the fabric is slightly sheer.

This shirt was disappointing. It has the approximate opacity of a kleenex, so you really have to wear something underneath. I'm 5'8" and 130lb (usually a size 2 in dresses) and the XS was huge on me. When I raised my arms, it looked like I was wearing a pillowcase. I get that it's supposed to be oversized, but it's weird when the sleeves are pretty fitted and the torso is enormous. On the bright side, I'm pretty tall, and the back was long enough to cover my butt completely. Since it was final sale, I'll probably wear it belted, over leggings. It's actually pretty okay with a belt and a tank top underneath.

I wanted an over-sized white shirt, for a relaxed look, this shirt does the job, but the material is thin and you can see through. it is kinda a bummer that i have to wear something underneath. i got it on sale for a good price so i am keeping it.
