Nice lightweight jacket for those cool summer nights. No drawstring, no problem. I put in my own. A little snip on each side of the hem and I pulled a shoelace thru. Super cute and fits better. You can use a cord or ribbon or elastic. Easy fix.

Loved this jacket! It’s a nice lightweight material perfect for spring. You can also layer it over sweaters for cooler weather. Color was exactly as expected. It doesn’t have much shape to it, but if you don’t mind, it’s a great jacket. The deep pockets are a plus! I can fit my small wallet and keys in one pocket easily. Good for anyone who doesn’t want to carry a purse

This is a versatile jacket. Perfect for taking a walk, running errands, doing fieldwork, etc. I would recommend to size down. Because it does not have draw string as shown in the picture, the fitting is very loose, especially for the lower part of the jacket. Overall, the quality is good, I like the style. I think having the draw string would make a big difference.

I love this jacket and decided to order it anyways despite the other review saying there was no drawstring. It did come without the draw string BUT it’s still a really cute jacket and I sized down one size in it so it wouldn’t be too big and it still works as a cute jacket even without the drawstring. It’s super soft and comfy too. Normally wear an XS or XXS in madewell tops/jackets, I’m 5’4 usually about 108 pounds. Got the XXS and works perfect.

I mimic what the other reviewer said! Very cute coat, nice color, nice buttons, but no draw string! Without it the coat lacks shape. Disappointed.

I need to preface this review by saying I am SALTY about this purchase. I love this jacket so much. It’s the perfect weight (light, perfect for layering in the spring or fall) color, tts...top favorite purchases from Madewell, ever. It doesn’t come with the drawstring. Which is why I bought it. Nobody bothered to check whether or not these were being manufactured incorrectly before sending me another, but not before I was instructed to purchase another. I received another jacket today, again without the drawstring. I had a **feeling** this would be the case as it suddenly became discounted during the Icon sale. Which I am. I know I don’t spend the MOST money every year, but I spend enough. So I’ll be returning two of the same jackets. If you don’t care about the drawstring, chances are you are going to love this jacket.
