Purchased this dress in the Westport, CT store after trying on the size 6 the sales associate asked if I wanted her to check on-line for a size 4. What, really when it's on clearance sale with a markdown? Sweet! Super helpful and nice. The dress arrived in time stated and fit like it was made for me. I purchased the dark green-really pretty shade. Best of all the dress looks and feels great. One of those dresses you can style in so many ways and always look put together. Professional and polished enough for work, date night, or an event, but also fun enough to pair with a cute pair of flats or sneakers for a casual look. It is also great for many shapes and ages. Really practical but style friendly piece that you will be reaching for time and time again. Great fit, great buy and the most comfortable dress I own-all with pockets.

I felt hesitation about the length of the skirt, and the horizontal pleats, but when I tried it on, I loved it! The fabric seemed a bit summery, and the pricing was high, so I waited to purchase it, and the store ran out of my size. I was thrilled to find it on-line, at a reduced price. It will be a perfect little black dress for the summer. So cute!

I bought it on sale at a very good price. When I got it in the mail, it really surprised me, everything is perfect, the size, the color, the shape, and the quality! I love it so much that decided to buy another color! BTW, I am 5.5, 120lb, the size 4 fits like a dream.

We had a family event and I needed a black dress. This was perfect. Not to conservative but it was comfortable and works well with all different accessories. I paired with tights and oxfords but will be great in the summer with sandals or heels. The dress was really comfortable and held up well with all the sitting and standing. I would totally recommend this dress as a wardrobe staple.

First off, I buy many of MW's a-line style dresses, and this one fits great and I think TTS to other MW dresses. For reference, I purchased a 2 in black; I am 5'9", 130lbs, 32C, small in MW tops and a 28 in MW bottoms. I've noticed that the MW a-line dresses will sometimes poof out over the butt, but that was not the case with this one (yay!). The chest is nicely fitted on me, but anyone bustier may need to size up to accommodate. There is not much stretch, so keep that in mind if you think you are between sizes.

Okay, so I ADORE this dress. Also, I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but it has pockets (super dope). The way the back is cut is lovely and the femine flare from the waist is spot on. I'm 5'3 and it hits right above my knees. Usually, I wear a size 0 in Madewell, but purchased the 2 because I have a larger chest and the waist on this piece is cut a bit narrow. I'd suggest trying this on before purchasing if possible. It's great for the sale price so don't delay!! 120lb. | 32dd bust

This dress is so comfortable and flattering. It hugs your waist, but isn't too tight. It has really nice shape and is amazing quality. Fits true to size for Madewell. I'm 5'4 and 130lbs and the 2 fit perfectly. Dress up with heels or down with flats. A go to dress for any special occasion.
