I have been looking for embroidery denim shirts for quite a while. This looks a little darker than it in the picture, but the denim is in good quality. embroidery is not tacky. To me, the sleeves are a tad short. More like a relax (generous) fit.

Love this shirt! The denim is soft and the embroidery is beautiful. I felt the sizing ran true to size. I bought a small which is usually what I wear. I love the rough edge at the bottom. I think it would look like your mom's shirt if it didn't have a little edge.

This shirt is amazing and I'm surprised that it's not sold out yet. It can be worn as a shirt or jacket. The fit is slightly large and I ordered a size down. I am a 26 or 27 in jeans and a small top in Madewell but got a XS. Buy this shirt! You won't be disappointed!!

This shirt is perfect for wearing by itself or with tank top. It’s true to size. I love the quality and the design. I can wear with black jean, white jean or burgundy jean. Love it. Perfect for fall, winter and even spring in California.

I wanted an on-trend embroidered denim shirt and this was the most beautiful one I found. Extra points for being cotton instead of polyester. I usually buy petite clothing from other brands, but Madewell's XS fits fine except for the sleeve being a little long (I turn up the cuff). The raw hem is also quite trendy. I'll wear this with skirts as well as dark jeans.

Love this shirt. On trend and cute w Olive shorts or denim. Looks cute untucked or not... even could serve as a light jacket over a tank. Great quality!
