Mar 07, 2025Happy with Curvy Cut
I’ve only just discovered Madewell’s curvy jeans and I like them a lot! I usually prefer skinny jeans but these are a nice alternative and they fit better in the waist. I’m a 31/32 in Madewell regular fit jeans but in these I’m a 30—which was true in the curvy straight cut as well. I wish they were a little longer in length so they hit the top of my foot. (I know cropped is in, I just don’t care for it.)

This was my first pair of Madewell jeans and was impressed with the quality. I loved the weight of the denim. The color and length were perfect. The fit was okay, the waist was good but they were a little too big at the hips. I was able to get this pair of jeans tailored but will size down next time.

I ordered a pair of these jeans in hopes of replacing a beloved hand-me-down pair of CPV jeans. The waist fits perfectly, the jeans feel sturdy and comfortable, and I will likely be keeping these for a long time. My only complaint is that these are definitely baggier than the ones I had before (I was surprised by this! They looked slimmer in the photo but they look almost boot-cut on me). I know wide-leg jeans are in style right now, but as a 5'1" shortie, I find slimmer cuts way more flattering!

Jan 01, 2025Not Consistent Between Colors/Material
I got a pair of these last summer in light wash and loved them so wanted to get another pair in another color. The material on these is not the same at all. The jeans stretch out so fast and do not hold their shape like the lighter color ones. Pretty disappointed.

The original perfect vintage jeans are my all time favorite jeans; I'm not sure what I expected with this fabric content, but the material is much more of a skinny jean super stretchy material rather than the more rigid "vintage" fit I was expecting. That being said, they are super soft and a nice color.

I have a few pairs of these jeans in different colors, and searched for this style specifically because I loved my other jeans so much. They had previously fit perfectly and were such great quality, non stretch denim (which I loved). Unfortunately, when I got these they were nothing like my other pairs. They are stretchy and are not the same fabric, nor do they seem like as good as quality as my other pairs. After getting them I saw other reviews mentioning the same thing. Really disappointed that the perfect vintage jeans were not what they once were.

Going along with the other reviews, the material is a stretchy / legging like material rather than a jean. Also the pair i got was damaged.

This is my favorite fit, these are basically the only option, I guess they are discontinued. But Madewell/ JCrew please listen!!! Items have the incorrect information over and over. Someone isn't doing their job. There's no polyester in these. Also, I bought them because it said 29" regular inseam and it's only 27". Frustrating that I have to go through the entire return process when i want these. Will not bother again.
