It looks like I have two furry rats on my feet. The fur is dull and matted. Any suggestions on fluffing up the shearling and adding a little shine to make them look somewhat like the picture?

I was soooo looking forward to getting these but was sooo dissapointed when I opened the box. The concept is great but the fur was so cheap looking I closed the box and sent them back. The picture of these online shows fluffy, smooth fur on these mules and what I actually received was nothing like the picture.
