I was looking for something other than skinny jeans and just happened upon these in-store. Bought my regular size 32 in Madewell sizing and they fit perfectly. I'm curvy and have a long torso so the rise is spot on. These are great weekend jeans. I would have preferred no rips so I could wear them to work, but that's the only real con for me. The fabric feels great even though there's poly (which is why I previously overlooked them). Good texture but not too thick for comfort. The whiskering I will overlook because I love the fit, but it's a smidge heavy handed. I'm a fan of the button fly and the selvedge look without having to deal with raws.

Fantastic jeans! I am 5'2", 120 and am wearing the size 28. Rolled a few times to make them ankle-length, they look amazing with booties, sneakers, slides, sandals. They feel chic yet relaxed, and are incredibly comfortable. Definitely pricey for a pair of jeans but got them on sale and they are totally worth it!!!

Yes, it’s true. I just fell in love with a pair of jeans. These jeans. They are soft, lightly distressed and perfectly vintage looking. The higher waist, straight leg and unexposed button-fly give them an early 90s “boy” jean vibe. They run large, so size down about 1-2 sizes if you’re looking for something that’s not loose. Also, a note for the taller folks, these are cropped, so at 5’8’’ I had to uncuff to get them to ankle length. Still, I want to live in them forever.

I thought based on the description and reviews that these jeans would be a stylish new type jean but instead they are like an old fashion work jean. I like the button fly and I like the denim. Even tho it has some poly and some stretch they feel fairly stiff and thick. I do not find the jeans fit large. I have the Madewell Slim boy jeans in a 30 and felt i would be pretty safe to order a 30, but find they are fairly snug in the body but loose in the leg. The back pocket placement and size are perfect. They make your butt look great.

I wish they had been an inch or 2 longer. ( I am 5'7 1/2. 120 lbs) Distressing is a bit much for me. I mulled on these observations a few days before I decided to keep them. I am so glad I did! I love the straight leg and fit. As for sizing..After reading the 1st review I had ordered sizes 26 & 27. I normally wear size 27 or 28. Kept the 26 (being neither too tight or loose) And, after wearing them 2 days they haven't stretched out. All this being said...These are now my go to jeans :)

I am crying into my wine because I came so close to finding jeans. The leg on these is just perfect and I can forgive the over-whiskering on the front. But literally no human alive wants a button fly, especially not a mom to 2 little kids who can barely find time to pee as it is (and who really doesn't need the extra bulky hardware on the front when a zipper would be much flatter - and more flattering). The waistband on these also needs to come down about an inch. Moms need to be able to crouch or squat often and for long periods of time without interrupting our digestive systems. If the waistband were 1" lower with a zip fly, these would be heaven on earth, but for the high price of Rivet & Thread they're not worth keeping unless they're perfect.
