Perfect fit and length for a shortie girl
I'm short and have a long torso, I wanted some jeans that I could wear with heels that wouldn't be too short but also not swallow me. I got a 26P and they are perfect! I usually wear a 27 in jeans, but i find Madewell jeans (esp curvy) run a bit big. For comparison in the petite curvy wide leg jeans I got a 25P and they are slightly snug but still comfy and maybe a bit short. For these I decided to just go 1 size down instead of 2. I am pear-shaped and these jeans hug my hips just how they should and don't gape at the waist. These jeans graze the ground even when i'm wearing platform converse, but i like the look it creates. They do look slightly baggy if you don't have long legs, but I think they are good at elongating! The softdrape denim is soooo soft and definitely thinner than the regular madewell denim, but it makes them really comfy. Interested to see how they hold up with regular wear and if they will lose their shape at all since they're not as rigid. Overall 10/10!

Great for bigger hips and thighs
I am 5'1" and about 135-140 lbs, pear shaped. I was excited to see there was a curvy size option of my latest Madewell discovery, the superwide-leg pants. I first got the style in non-curvy and they fit surprisingly well for a non-curvy fit thanks to the extra room for my hips and thighs, but could still use a little more rise in the back and nip in the waist. These curvy petite version fit even better. I saw that someone else in the comments mentioned they preferred the rise of the non-petite version, so I checked and realized those are an inch higher. I also prefer the higher rise, so I ended up ordering the non-petite curvy version and getting it hemmed like the other commenter did.

Comfy Jeans!
These jeans are very comfortable and easy to dress up or down. I wish they were a bit more high wasted; that would make them more flattering.

Wanted to like these…
I bought the size I normally would for these jeans, but got in a regular versus petite because I wanted to wear with a higher heel. Unfortunately, they run bigger than jeans I’ve bought from madewell in the past. I liked the thinner material and drape they had, they just were overall too big. I couldn’t exchange because the size I would need was sold out:(
