I am a sucker for a matching set and this one is top of the list for me. I am typically a medium and went with my regular size and I think they fit perfect. I do like things to fit comfortably and I wouldn't say size down. Looks so cute with the matching top. I am not the hugest fan of the MDWL branding throughout but not so much that I would return it. Such a keeper.

Jun 25, 2021I really love the fabric but I would not recommend this for petite people
I bought the xxs and I’m pretty short so these shorts went halfway up my ribs. Wearing it closer to a high rise fit, the combination of the extra fabric and the quilting resulted in some weird billowing when sitting. Fit issues aside, the quilted fabric is much too hot for summer, which is a pity since these are otherwise very cute shorts.

I wanted to love these, but the fit was just not what I was expecting. The fabric is thicker, hence the quilted, and caused the shorts to fit balloon like. Maybe just not for me, would recommend sizing down!
