I'm usually a size 6 (27), but ordered a 4 and the skirt's waistband can still very easily stretch out a whole other size. It doesn't make the skirt look too big on me however (surprisingly, it still sits firmly against my tummy when I'm not stretching it around), it just makes it even more comfortable to sit and eat in :)

The love stretch on this skirt! I normally wear a size 4 and this skirt was true to size. The stretch makes it easy to enjoy the day and not have to feel constricted. Definitely recommend!

This skirt is so flattering on, I can't wait for it to get a little cooler so I can wear it with turtlenecks. I'd say the fit is maybe a teeny bit big, but not enough to size down, it fit pretty true to size for me at least but it's definitely very short if you're tall. I'm 5'8 and this is a true "mini" skirt length.

Just what I thought it would be. This is going to be my "go-to" jean skirt. I'm short (5'), so what is a mini on everyone else means I don't have to hem it. It's good-quality denim and the sizing was spot-on. It's tough buying ladies' wear online these days with sizes all over the place, so it was a delight that Madewell offered a product that lived up to expectations.

I love the smell of denim. Is that weird? Runs true to size but got a little baggier when I hand washed and dried. It might zip back to its original size with a drier, which I have not been getting to. Length is pretty nice on my 5'4" body. Goes down to right above my knees.I think 1-2" above my knees. Looks great dressed down or up! :D

I am curvy and 5’9. That being said I rarely find a skirt that will fit my hips, let alone not be frighteningly short. This skirt fits well, is flattering, a comfortable length (hits mid thigh), and is obviously a quality product.
