I can’t tell if I needed to have gotten an XXS or a S. I am usually an XS and based on the reviews ordered an XS but I forgot to factor in that I have tiny shoulders so the stitching structure of the shoulder is a little more prominent than I would have liked for my frame, and I’m unsure if sizing up or down was the solution to that. The wash is perfect though and the copper buttons complement the not overly distressed medium wash of the jacket.

The perfect oversized jean jacket to wear especially when wearing more layers in fall/winter. Love the color and style. Sleeves aren't overly long - could be a pro or con depending on your desired style.

This is the perfect oversized denim jacket! I typically wear a size 18 pants and 1x or xxl in tops. I got the 2x in this so I could wear year round with thicker layers as well as in the summer. It is the perfect summer jacket for cool nights by the campfire. It doesn’t need a breaking in period and is comfy cozy from the first wear. I am obsessed with this jacket!

I am rating this item based on quality and not so much personal preference on fit. The quality of the jacket is Madewell. . . Lol It feels soft and sturdy. The color is slightly lighter in person than in the picture above. The arm length of the jacket is on the short side and I ordered the regular fit as opposed to the petite fit, which I usually prefer. Yet, for petite ladies the regular size jacket does fit like a petite fit- due to the short sleeves. The overall fit is as described - oversized. I usually buy a size small and the small fits oversized but just right. I think I could have bought a size XS for a fitted look, but the oversized look was what I was going for. I didn’t keep the jacket because the silhouette was too boxy and didn’t flatter my figure. It looked like I was wearing a men’s jacket. Yet, I would recommend this jacket because it is a quality jacket, and although it didn’t fit my personal taste it is a beautiful piece.

I was looking for a denim jacket for a while, something that could easily be thrown on over other layers and yet still look stylish. This jacket fits the bill! It's slightly oversized, so it can be worn over anything. The denim material is of great quality while still being soft enough to have that "broken-in" feeling. Definitely recommended!

WASH: I was torn between this and the capstone wash. Even though the picture of the item does not show the distressing on the sleeves, I'm VERY happy with this jacket. The capstone wash has some faded sections, but it's not a light stone wash (like the capstone). I think I prefer the wortham's level of wash - just the right amount of blue so that I can wear this all year (in CA). TEXTURE: Buttery soft. Not stiff like my pinter wash jacket (which I still love). This jacket comes in an already broken in feel, like you've had it for years. FIT: My True Size (5'6", 140 lbs, 34B, 29 in most madewell pants) said I was a small, but I went for the medium because, you know, sweaters. The length hits me just below the hips. Shoulders slightly come down. Overall, love this jacket.

I've been looking for an oversized jacket for a long time. I love this one! I sized down (5'4", 115 lb) to the XXS and I'm happy I did. It's still oversized but I know that the XS would have drown me out. Super stylish!

Perfect for what I was looking for. I have been on a search for a oversized baggy fit jean jacket. I chose a XX-L. I am 5'9" 165lbs, usually a L in tops and jackets. The jean fabric is on the lighter side, comfortable, not stiff. Will be a great option for the summer nights coming up. And, I love the embroidery I chose. Thanks Madewell!
