Jun 28, 2024So nice to have a rise that fits
I am tallish and long waisted, and so many brands seem to make "tall" jeans by just making the legs longer. These have a gloriously high rise in the tall size and an inseam that is not too long. So the waist actually lands a little high even on me, and is so comfortable. It is at my natural waist, not trying to close around my hipbones. I am utterly delighted with this. I was afraid when I read 'Good for curvy girls' as I am pretty straight up and down, but the extra length in the rise just makes them fit, they are not too big in the hips or legs. I bought according to the size chart and they fit about how I would expect, a snug but not tight fit. They look amazing with a shirt left untucked and ridiculous with a shirt tucked in, but I like to leave the shirt on the outside anyway.

The jeans run at least 2 sizes smaller and the fabric isn't as thick. It's hard to say if a 27 would fit better than the 28's

Ordered these in light wash for summer. Wash/color is fun but the fit is not flattering at all. I am 5'4" and 140 pounds. I ordered the shortest option but also too long and just looked so sloppy. Sending back.
